The purpose of this blog.

The purpose of this blog is to remember Grayce Bradt and Rosario Murabito. We will be posting many photos and memories that we have to start with, but we encourage anyone who knew one or both of them to add their recollections to this blog.
Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.

  1. My Aunt was a close friend of Grayce and Rosario. Her name was Virginia Vance. I would be interested in sharing some information with you.

    1. Shaun, thank you for writing. Grayce had asked that I pull together her biography, so it would wonderful to talk to you. We are currently working with my mother, Mickey - Grayce's sister, who has turned 96 and that is taking up much of my time, but I'm also working on pulling together all materials we can.

  2. I had the great pleasure of meeting Grayce and her sister Mickey at my parents' home near Syracuse, NY when she and my Aunt Evinda ("Vinni") were touring the USA. I was rather spellbound by her great spirit and enthusiasm and stories. I can still hear her saying "I am a dictator by nature" and laughing. She told us about offering to drive some big rig or truck and a man expressing some surprise or doubt. She set him straight. "If you don't think this Minnesota farm girl who drove a farm tractor can't .....you've got a second thought coming." What a treat! My parents had met "Saro" in New York and thought he was absolutely delightful! My aunt adored him also. Great friendships. --Inga Henrickson Barnello, Solvay, NY

    1. Inga, so good to hear from you. I'm sorry Bob and I have not been keeping up this site, but now that I am retired I hope to add more. My mother. Mickey, just turned 96 four days ago. She still lives in Canton, NY. I believe I may have met you that day in Syracuse. Was that in 1980 or 1981?

    2. Inga, is Vinni still in Venice? I believe Robert Schonfeld visited her a couple of years ago.
